What we collect

When you request quotes, submit a tender, download a guide or subscribe to our update, we collect the details you enter:

• Name, organisation, role, email address and (optionally) phone number
• Project details such as technology, volume, energy, country, timeline, budget band and requirements
• Consent choices
• Technical attribution data: the page you came from, campaign parameters (utm) and the page of submission

Purposes and legal basis

• Handling your quote or tender request and introducing you to manufacturers — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Sending the quarterly market & regulation update or a requested guide — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Improving the website and preventing abuse — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Sharing with manufacturers

Only when you tick the consent box, we share your request with up to three relevant manufacturers so they can prepare a quotation. They become independent controllers of the data they receive and process it under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data and never share it for unrelated marketing.

We use carefully selected processors for hosting and our database, bound by data processing agreements. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

Retention

We keep lead and request data for 24 months after your last contact, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
